Bolton Joinery and Building came to us looking for a new website after around a year of owning a domain but not having a website to put on it.
The brief was relatively simple, allow customers to view their previous projects and allow future customers to get in touch quickly and in what ever way they wanted.
The website also served to showcase some of the services they offer.
We added a contact form to allow future customers to get in touch without even having to leave the website increasing the conversation rate.
To showcase Bolton Joinery and Building's previous project we added a dedicated gallery with a copious amount of imagery collected from previous projects.
To further increase the conversion rate we ensured the website worked on all platforms; including tablets, phones and desktops with a fully featured menu.
This project was different to our previous projects as the client came to us knowing what he wanted the final project to look like. This allowed us to skip the design phase and get straight to writing the HTML and CSS with some adaptation to allow it to function on mobiles and tablets.
We started by simply creating a homepage, a generic service page and a contact form with some other generic and useful styling's such as buttons and boxes. The final design used areas made prominent by colours which contrast the background to draw prospective clients to certain content or information such as the services offered or contact information.
In additional to adding a contact form we ensured that emails sent from the contact form will not end up in the spam folder using a dedicated email server, this helps to ensure that no client is ignored or passed over due to bad luck.
